My Holiday

Ahhh I've been lazy! and there's a backlog of things. But here are the Holiday adventures.

Hope everyone had a Happy Holiday!

(I made these balloons for my brother!)

Dinner before Christmas eve @ Tender Greens in West Hollywood :

Christmas Eve:

Baked Bacon Chocolate chip cookies!

and made more chocolate!

The giant box was filled with the chocolates I made, and nutella (because I heard Mike's family never had Nutella!). I also placed balloons in the box, so when they opened the box balloons would float out and it would be magical (and it was)!

I spent Christmas Eve + day with the Allens. I met some of Mike's extended family on Christmas when we visited his Grandma (she called me sweet awww).

Gifts -

I don't really expect anything on Christmas, but I got things this year and I'm thankful!

  1. Brother got me Scott Pilgrim
  2. Mike got me a screen printing kit & a gun book (for art references, and for zombie apocalypse prepping). He knows me so well! ♥ I got him a new pc controller, and a chocobo plush.
  3. Mike's family got me a cat book mark & a Barnes & Noble gift card!
  4. Mike and I treated ourselves haha.
I think we may be going to Vegas for New Years Eve!

Happy Belated Thanksgiving

Opps. I've been busy, and a bit lazy to edit images. So, there's a line of random adventures.

I guess I'll start with the most recent thing, which was Thanks giving! I hope everyone had a nice one. I actually did something this year, and spent it with Mike's family (kind of).

Mike always joked (or maybe he was serious) about never letting me see his house, so I never really expected him to invite me.

We were actually eating at Mr. Ramen last week when this conversation happened:

He eventually invited me to Thanksgiving dinner with his family, and to be "American" (joke, because I'm Asian). I was all sunshine and bubbles while waiting for him to ask! haha.

He had beef ramen btw!

And I had chicken & bamboo ramen.

I was so nervous meeting them. I decided to make truffles, 'cause I think sweets are a safer way to go... since I'm not sure if they'll like anything else I cook.

Crushed oreos! I have one of those crazy Blendtec blenders. They're amazing!

Tempering chocolate always scares me... because something always goes wrong. I really need a thermometer...

A cute container to place the chocolate.

Finished products! Well...atleast the nicer looking ones. I kept the "rejects" for my family to eat.

Two tiers of chocolate!

They didn't touch it when I was there, so I was afraid they didn't like it. They actually ate all of them within the 4 hours that Mike & I weren't there! I'm surprised they even ate the matcha ones!

Mike told me that his mom said I should make more for Christmas. Yay, possible acceptance???

Oh, and Mike & I saw this while driving to his place. Har har... I actually did go see Harry Potter, but that'll be another entry.

I'm sad the Thanksgiving break is over... There's 3 more weeks of school though, so winter break will be soon! But, before that there's finals and thus, it is now crunch time :(.

Sleep time!

Halloween Adventures w/ Mike

Day eight: Three turn ons.
  1. Brains/intelligent
  2. Goal oriented
  3. Glasses
(idk it was vague, but I'm almost done with this meme)

I hope everyone had a fun Halloween? if you celebrate that is.

My friend Mike and I joked about going Trick or Treating... or maybe we weren't. I think we were serious, because in the end we went! We're actually both in our 20's... but we're both fairly young looking and can pass as teens. Oh I love being a kid at heart! I never really want to grow up (which is kind of why I chose this specific career choice) Our excuse, according to Mike, was "We're 18 and this is our last Halloween. Gotta do it while we can!" I think most other people would probably think we're creepers though... but I like candy ;-;...and fun...

I threw together a quick costume because I didn't really want to go around in lolita.

Detail, it's a L!

Ignore the messy room! I was trying to finish my costume. I couldn't find my overalls, so I made a jean skirt, and used suspenders. I also made the giant headbow. It took me about 3 hours! "Female" luigi outfit.

Nothing amazing! I had a mushroom on the other cheek.

and a Yoshi.

We ended up going a bit late, so a lot of houses were out of candy, but we did get some.

I'm shy about taking pics in public places sometimes, but Mike suggested I should for my blog, so here are some decorations:

Cat! The lady at the house even had a cat inside the house!

Lit up

Blurry, but there's a giant spider on their yard.

This house went pretty much all out with sounds, lights, and a spooky front yard and all that jazz!

Amazzzzing!

After we decided to get some food. Mike wanted Ramen, but the place was closed! So, we went to Tea Zone instead. He offered to pay for me, but they didn't take credit/debit so I had to pay cash (aw, it's the thought that counts).

He got Peach green tea

I got milk boba tea

We played Speed (not with much speed though) as we waited for food.

and we shared popcorn chicken (I guess my road to pescotarian has not quite been reached).

Mike is looking cute and spiffy in his cowboy outfit.

Though we probably should have gone home, we decided to find something to do. We ended up driving around all over the place. First we went to Life Plaza to see if Cue (a purikura shop) was open. It was closed. Then, we went to North Hollywood looking for this arcade that's open till 4. We didn't find that. After, we went to West Hollywood and walked around. My friend Alex always wants to take me to Rage, so Mike showed me where it was. The streets were covered in people in costume, and I should have taken pictures of some (like an awesome ghost buster). We left after walking a bit.

^Stopped at a crazy gas station that looks like a gas station.

My loot! Mike got fangs and a bracelet, I didn't get any toys :(... except a pencil.

Mike doesn't like Snickers, but we got a lot of them. I wonder if it had to do with this creepy commercial:

We ended up going home really late... X:. but, I had a really fun night! Mike and I got to know each other better, and it's crazy how much we have in common. We made all these plans that we have to do together! x3. He told me to write it down because we'd probably forget, so I made a list on my listography!

When I finally got home, I found these in my room:

It's one of those hanging organizers? I think someone's hinting I should clean my room... but it's hard when you have projects to work on D:...

So,
